Matrix Visual - Change Export to CSV Delimiter

Hi, good afternoon.

I have a matrix visual in one of my reports and I was wondering if it's possible to change the delimiter when exporting data to CSV? The defaul delimiter is a comma. I would like to use a semicolon.

Best Regards,

Rui

Yes, I know that.

But I wanted the file to be automatically opened as an excel spreadsheet, and in order to do that, the CSV delimiter must be the same as the list separator in regional settings.

@rmcpdias

I hope you have set your delimiter to ; in the List Separator under the regional setting. Power Bi does not have an option to choose a delimiter for CSV export. You add this as an idea or vote for one if it is already there :

Yes, I have the semicolon as the List Separator under the regional settings, but Power BI uses the comma as the delimiter in CSV files.

Creating an idea on this request is really worth: https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/
