Hi,
I have 2 charts on 1 page.
On one chart I want to manage roles using the Manage role option and is successful.
Basically from Manage role option I'm filtering out some data.
However I want this to happen on chart1 only.
Presently the manage role affects both the chart(expected behaviour)
How can i make the role work on 1 chart only?
Hi @Anonymous
"manage role" works on the dataset instead of a report page or a chart.
If you want to filter out some data on some chart but keep the data remain on other charts, just add filters in the Visual level filter.
Best Regards
Maggie
Hi Maggie,
My requirement is :
I hae 2 charts on 1 page
On chart 1 I want to filter out data for the dealer who logs in such that
If dealers type* = 'type1' then show chart1.1**
if dealers type* = 'type2' then show chart1.2
*dealer type is a column name in report
**chart1.1 and 1.2 are controlled via manage roles
Chart2 should show all the data(including type1 and type2 irrespective of who the dealer is)
