Hi all,
I have an issue. I would like to link to pdf files. When I copy the link into the browser it works fine and the pdf is displayed in the browser. However, if I click on the link in power bi desktop the file does not open.
has anyone an idea why this does not work?
Thanks,
Marco

Hello @MarcoWS ,
This looks like a file to me and not a WEB URL. The problem is that it will not open in Desktop, only in the Service:
If you want to use file URLs, there are some limitations. They won't open in Power BI Desktop, only in web browsers. For most browsers, you will need to right-click on the link, copy the link address and paste the URL into a new tab.

@MarcoWS , Most of the click on the desktop are Ctrl+Click, Like button, Url etc
I tried with CTTL + Click but doesn't work.
