Limitations on Mass Email/Messaging

Hi All,

I've set up a mailto call measure to send out mass emails, but it appears that the maximum is 125 emails.

If there are more than that, the system is unable to trigger emails.

Do you know if:

(1) there is a limitation for mailto call measure ?

(2) if yes, do you have any suggestions?

Thank you very much!

Hi @Lesveilleurs ,

If there is a limit, it depends on the underlying email client that is registered for links.mailto:

Sending emails this way starts a new Windows process to open an email sending window, typically Microsoft Outlook. It could well be there is a limit to the number of recipients that Outlook will permit or the size of the mailto: string.

A possible workaround could be to create two or more email messages instead, each with 20 or less email addresses.

Below is the link will help you:

Mailto recipient limit - Stack Overflow

Suggestions:

If you’re consistently hitting the limit, consider reconfiguring your server settings to accommodate larger email volumes.

Additionally, you might want to explore alternative approaches, such as using the class to construct and send emails programmatically.

Best Regards,

Xianda Tang
