Issue with drill through in same page

Hi All,

I am working on a report and I have to show the drillthrough in same page . I tried it by edit interactions and turning on the filter option in the drillthrough chart (second chart). The functionality of the below dashboard is the users will be clicking on the file ID's in the first chart to see the drill through info in the second chart. It is working fine . but when i click on the second chart the results are messed up.

The original dashboard..

After clicking on a file id, The drill through changes in second dashboard

And I want to show extra info on hovering on second chart bars..So i added a tooltip report and it is also working fine. But when user clicks on bar . The results of second chart are disturbed .. See below.

Screenshot (124).png

I want the result to remain same before clicking on another file id in first chart. If drill through is in other page ,the result remain same even after clicking on the bars. But in the same page the results are getting disturbed .. How can i stop it . Any suggestion...

I tried putting an empty Text box to prevent user from clicking ,But unfortunately the hovering option is also not working by that method .. Any workaround for this .. Is it possible like this in power bi. I am newbie to this .. Thanks in Advance

@Anonymous , this should happen when click two time. First, it should select, second time remove the filter.

If you click on the same visual twice any filter applied by that visual goes away

Hi @amitchandak ,

Thanks for the reply

But The results are changes on the first click only.. If the end users while hovering by mistake if they click on a bar it will be a issue ..
