Issue with converting column to date

Hi everyone

I have a column that contain the date in below format. (month + year)

When i try to change to date, it will read as 4/23/2024 which is not what I want.

The correct date should be April 2023 or if the day is require then it should show 4/1/2023.

Please advise me how can I convert this column to date?

try to add a new column in PQ

=[Date]&"-1"

then change the data type to date
