@Anonymous , either user or the Ip from which you are connecting has an issue.

Are you connecting a Datasource to connecting via power bi dataset?

Make sure you are still logged in using power bi user, in case you are using the power bi dataset. And you still have access to that dataset.

In case of DB it can credential issue. Or Ip access issues. (report builder machine might not have access)

@amitchandak

I am connecting to Power BI dataset.

I have created a Workspace, so I am the admin and when I am connecting to the dataset I am getting the error.

My IT team are trying to figute out what might be the issue but not getting any idea.

@Anonymous , Just check if your one-premise gateway is working or not. It should have role in case of import mode, but direct query it has.

Also double-check login in power bi report builder. It should you login or the one having access to dataset.

You can check the permission of dataset, Open workspace -> go-to dataset, hover over it. On three dots manage permission -> Check access to the users.

@amitchandak

we are using Azure SQL, so OAuth2 it is working fine.

Report is on Direct Query only. I am the admin of the workspace and also i am using the same account for Power BI and report builder.

still getting the error.
