Am facing an issue with the DAX function CountRows as it is giving incorrect value.
The table has only 2 rows but CountRows DAX gives 4 rows.

The issue was that there were duplication in the data and these duplicated records are not shown in the table visual be default. Adding an index column to the table resolved my issue to showl all the duplicated records in the table visual.

Can you share the formula that you use to count the rows

The formula is COUNTROWS(JAMVATOPTEMP) where JAMVATOPTEMP is the table name.
This is very straightforward as am not doing any transformation on the table. I just load the table and add all the columns to the table visual. When i export the data from the table visual to excel i get only 2 rows,but the DAX gives me 4 rows

This is not much clear. Need to understand what is the data in the background and what are the filters applied.
Can you share your pbix file (after removing sensitive data)
