Independent Bookmarks and Toggle

I have two bookmarks created in the same report.

When I toggle (show/hide) 1st report, it's fine.

Can I toggle 2nd bookmark while 1st report remains open?

1st and 2nd report have their own show/hide buttons.

I want them to be independent so I want to show both, I'll click their own seperate show buttons and if I want to hide both, I can click on their separate hide buttons.

Hi @diskovered ,

Based on my research, I am afraid you could not achieve this feature currently, When you create a bookmark, the following elements are saved with the bookmark:

  • The current page
  • Filters
  • Slicers, including slicer type (for example, dropdown or list) and slicer state
  • Visual selection state (such as cross-highlight filters)
  • Sort order
  • Drill location
  • Visibility (of an object, using the Selection pane)
  • The focus or Spotlight modes of any visible object

So, I am afraid you could not make your bookmarks dependently, I suggest you submit an idea in ideas forum:

@diskovered

I believe you are having both the toggle in the same page of the report?

Let say one toggle is selected as hide and other toggle is selected as show. Then in that case i want to hide the objects as per the toggle 1 and show the objects as per the toggle 2. This is what i am looking for in the same page of the report.

Please let me know if this is feasible or not. If not what is the alternative way to achieve this?
