IF CONDITION

Hi,

I have a table called "Fees"

I'm using the below DAX formula to get the FeeAmount

FeeAmount :=
    CALCULATE (
        SUMX (
            SUMMARIZE (
                Fees,
                Fees[Report_Date],
                Fees[Employee_ID],
                Fees[Record_No],
                Fees[CreditAmount]
            ),
            Fees[CreditAmount]
        ),
        Fees[creditname] = "FeeAmount"
    )

WORKS FINE!

I also have a TRUE/FALSE column "STATUS"

I want to include this TRUE/FALSE CONDITION

How can I use IF CONDITION for the above DAX formula

EXAMPLE:

FeeAmount :=
    IF (
        Fees[STATUS] = TRUE,
        CALCULATE (
            SUMX (
                SUMMARIZE (
                     Fees,
                    Fees[Report_Date],
                    Fees[Employee_ID],
                    Fees[Record_No],
                    Fees[CreditAmount]
                ),
                Fees[CreditAmount]
            ),
            Fees[creditname] = "FeeAmount"
        )
    )

 This is NOT WORKING

Please let me know how to include IF CONDITION for the above DAX

I believe what you want is:

    CALCULATE (
        SUMX (
            SUMMARIZE (
                Fees,
                Fees[Report_Date],
                Fees[Employee_ID],
                Fees[Record_No],
                Fees[CreditAmount]
            ),
            Fees[CreditAmount]
        ),
        Fees[creditname] = "FeeAmount", Fees[STATUS] = TRUE
    )

I believe what you want is:

    CALCULATE (
        SUMX (
            SUMMARIZE (
                Fees,
                Fees[Report_Date],
                Fees[Employee_ID],
                Fees[Record_No],
                Fees[CreditAmount]
            ),
            Fees[CreditAmount]
        ),
        Fees[creditname] = "FeeAmount", Fees[STATUS] = TRUE
    )
