I want to have a slicer to select one CATEGORY field at a time for the following data. Field Parameteres is not working for this data.

I need to have MONTH on X-AXIS and any of the CATEGORY on Y-AXIS.

I would tackle this in the following manner:

1. Use Power Query to "Unpivot" your Table. This will give the following:

Then create your Line or Column Chart with Month on the X-Axis, Value on the Y-Axis and CategoryX as your legend.

Create a Slicer visual using Category X. Then you can use the Single Select to force the User to only select one Category at a time.

I believe this would be the easiest way to accomplish what you are looking for.
