Hi I have followed many websites that explained that we need to sort the months by month number instead of by month name.
I have tried it many times but it still does not work.
I have created a new column for Month Number that will correspond to the month name. Then I click on "Sort by columns".
I can see the greyed out option that I have selected "MonthNumber" that I want to sort the month based on the number.
Then in my report tab, it still shows me the alphabetical order of months instead of chronological order of month. I have tried all the means but it does not work. I have even closed it and refreshed the PBI. It does not work either.

@Anonymous , Click on month attended and then sort on month number

Finally it works. I should have clicked on that target column not the MonthNumber column. It works. Thanks!
