Hello,
I am really new to working with PowerBI.
So I have an excel table which is connected to PowerBI and shown as a filter on my PowerBI Desktop. Now I would like to rename the various, yellow marked categories of my filter, without renaming them in excel.
is this possible? If yes, how?
Thank you very much!

Hi @Degraf ,
The easiest way to do this is to create a calculated column and then filter out the row values you want to change. The rows that do not need to be changed are left as they are.
Refer to the following formula.
new_slicer =
IF (
'Table'[Category] = "A",
"a-1",
IF (
'Table'[Category] = "B",
"b-1",
IF ( 'Table'[Category] = "E", "e-1", 'Table'[Category] )
)
)
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry

This will require some effort but you can edit them one by one in the Power Query Editor. Just use the "Replace Values" option in the column and change them one by one.
