My report has 2 pages. The first page is a summary of issues, the second is the list of issues. If I drill through to the second page it filters the list however if I go back to the first page and then want to view all the errors on the second page the drill through filter is still there.
I also have a slicer on the first page that restricts the view on the second page to a set of errors based on what is selected in the slicer. because of this the bookmark trick doesn't work.
How do I get that filter removed without having to press the errase filter button?
@fparker61 I can think of a couple possible solutions. The easiest would be to introduce a Card visual or something like that which counts all the errors. Whatever measure/column you use for that visual, add it to the drill through filters for the page. Now, if you want to view all errors, drillthrough using the Card visual.
That adds complexity and would require user training. I was hoping for something I can put on the back button to make the filter go away. So far I haven't found anything. Is there a way to add custom coding to a button?
@fparker61 No, you can't add custom code to a button. You might be able to do it with a bookmark by playing with the optional settings for bookmarks, particularly the Data setting and the Selected visuals setting (so exclude your slicer for example).
Thanks, I will try that.
