How to import table format or slide with format predefined

Hi all

I downloaded a COVID tracker from MSFT PBI. I noticed it contains a very nice table format that I would like to use for my dahsboards, however I cant copy paste that table seen below:

Do you know how can you create tables like this and have them static or have it as sheet imported like you do in power point?

I attach the pbi.

Hi,

you have to insert the image as a page background

Hi @o59393 ,

Open a new .pbix file, go to page "format",find "wallpaper",choose add image:

Then you can use it as you wish.

Hi @o59393 ,

you can extract the PBIX with a zip program

Wow, how did you get there?

I only shared you the pbix. Can you share the step before that got you there?

I downloaded the pbix from here:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/sample-covid-19-us

Thanks!

Hi @mwegener

I made it!

Now how can I import this on a new pbix in the exact same way the covid is? What I mean is that in the COVID dashboard you cannot touch nor drag that visual, how is that possible?

Thanks!

Hi  @o59393 ,

Go to menu bar>"Insert">"Image":

Annotation 2020-05-26 114522.png

Then choose the pic which you have extracted from the .pbix file, and you will see:

Hi @v-kelly-msft

I did import the image. The problem is that when you put a table or other visual on top of that image, the table/visual will dissapear or go backward when you click or hover somewhere else.

I tried sending the image back but no positive result.

Is it possible to have the image as seen on tab "Main" of the covid tracker? In othe words, regardless of where you click the image in the back, it wont move anywhere nor affect other visuals.

In fact when you click on the image of tab Main you can't select it, that's what I would like to have too.

I attach the pbix with the image imported (page 1 of pbix)
