Hi All,
what is the option to format the data values in a table matrix in PowerBI. My table matrix looks like the below screenshots.
If we can see in the below table matrix , the %attendance is oriented towards extreme right in the grid cell. I want to move this % attendance towards left so that it looks well aligned w.r.t the attendance row.
Below is an expected format. Can we achieve this? In excel we have formatting option, but can we do the same in PowerBI.Please advice
Is there any such formating feature in table matrix, if yes then which property?Any examples will be helpful.

Hi, @deb_power123
Yes, power Bi has this format option:
Check:
format>>Field formatting>>Alignment>>left
Is this the result you want? Hope this is useful to you

Thankyou this worked for me
Hi @deb_power123 ,
Not sure how you created the Matrix that you have shown as Present view
I would suggest you to transform the source table as shown below before building the matrix
Then build the matrix. Shown below the screenshot
Hope this helps!!
If this solves the issue, mark it as solution and give it a thumbs up!!
Hi @Thejeswar
The problem is both % attendance and attendance are calculated columns and this doesnt show up in transformation tab.Try any calculated column , you cant unpivot ..is there a way to handle?
Hi @deb_power123 ,
Shouldn't be a problem at all.
Just move the calculated columns to the Power Query Editor.
I mean created calculated columns in Power Query Editor. Then do the unpivot on those new columns.
It will work perfectly fine
