Hi all: Good day! I just finished developing first version of my dashboard. Now trying to publish it to our org site. There is another team that already published their dashboard 2 months back. We are trying to collaborate to publish our tabs/pages into one Master dashboard jointly. They shared a pbix file [Master dashboard] to me to update it with my changes. Do I have to create all my tabs/pages from scratch now or is there a way to kinda copy/paste? The other team is also new in this, so we are trying to find the most efficient way to do this.
Any help in this is highly appreciated. 🙂
HI @sohananahid,
Did these datasets have similar data structures?
If this is a case, you can consider paramried your report connection string and save as a template, then you can change the parameter to new datasource connection string not generated the report with similar structure and report design.

Hi @sohananahid
The only option on the dashboard is as below. let me know if you see more.
So, you cannot copy past the dashboard.
However, if you have the .PBIX file as you mentioned, you can pin the report to the new masster dashboard.

If both pbix share the same data model (table/column names, relationships, etc.), you can highlight the visuals (with multiselect) and Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V into the other pbix.
If this works for you, please mark it as the solution. Kudos are appreciated too. Please let me know if not.

Pat

Hi @mahoneypat : Thanks for your response. Actually that's not the case! I know I can do copy/paste if they have same data model as you mentioned. But, these two are using totally different data sets/ models.
