How to create a percentage

Hi ... please could you help me understand how to create a %.

There is a field called TEU and another called TEU Forecast. I have inserted them into one graph as per attached file and need to see each rows %:

ie. if the TEU sum is 11 and the TEU forecast is 20 then you should see 55%

Can you show me how to do this .. the SHOW value as row % doesn't seem to work.

You can create a measure

Percent TEU Actual = DIVIDE(SUM(TEU), SUM(TEU Forecast))

and format it as Percentage from the Modeling ribbon on top.

I would have attached the modified file, but I don't see the option here. And I cannot upload a file from my work laptop. I'll upload from my personal machine in a few minutes.

Hi .. thank you so much HOWEVER .. if you try this in the .pbix you will see that the function DIVIDE .... doesn't pick up either of the two fields:  

1. TEU

2. TEU Forecast

Any ideas?

Hi @MarcUrdang - Since these are columns, not measures, you'll need to do something like this:

TEU Forecast % = 
DIVIDE(
    SUM('Consol INBOUND'[TEU]), 
    SUM('Consol INBOUND'[TEU Forecast])
)
