How to create a link to another report page that carries the patientID record to a details page

Hi,

I have a patients table and want to allow the user to click onto a cell in the table (in this case inside the Link column) that navigates to another report page in the pbix carrying additional details of the patient.

I tried the web URL function on Power BI desktop and able to attach the patientID to the end of the URL and works perfectly. However I now need to create a report page within the pbix that shows slightly different information. unfortunately tooltips is not a option.

Can this be done?

Hi @jos818 , I believe you need a drill through feature: Set up drillthrough in Power BI reports .

Stand with Ukraine!

Here are official ways you can support Ukraine financially (accounts with multiple currencies):
1) Support the Armed Forces of Ukraine: https://bank.gov.ua/ua/about/support-the-armed-forces
2) Come Back Alive foundation: https://www.comebackalive.in.ua/

Thank you!

Close but I need to have the function to show up as an icon on each row in the 'Link' column of the table/matrix so the user simply click onto then passes the parameter of the patient_ID to another report page in the dashboard. Drillthrough requires a popup menu to appear which unfortunately is not what the customer wants.
