How to catch the latest BOM item based on the latest effective in date

Hey there,

I try to create a table to highlight the latest BOM table. (see below master data) . In our master data table, it has all records of BOM with the effective in and effective out time). But i want to create a table to visualize the BOM at the production site level based on the latest effective in date (A and B are different type of components)

Master Data Table

Below is the BOM list based on the latest effective in date.

So my question is

1: Not sure I should create a measure or column to have those info

2: How I should write the dax

Thanks a lot!

Adding the attachments for excel and pbix.

See the dax I wrote, but it seems that doesn't help to split the BOM based on the production site. Any thoughts how I can calculate that at site level. Thanks!
