How do I use a slicer to filter data in a comma delimited string?

I have a slicer tied to a dataset that displays a unique list values. I then have a table tied to a different dataset that has a column that contains a comma delimited list of values. How do I tie my slicer to my table whereby slicer selections filter the data in the table if the comma delimited string in the table "contains" the value selected in the slicer?

For illustrative purchases my slicer contains data such as

Hot

HR Contact

Media

....

The table field I'm interested in contains comma delimited strings such as:

Row         Comma delimited list

------------------------------------

1              Hot, Media, HR Contact

2              HR Contact, Media

3              Hot

So, if a user selects "Hot" in the slicer then I need the data in the table to display rows 1 and 3

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi,

Using Data > Split Column > By rows, you should create seperate row for each entry in the comma delimited list and then build a relationhip.  Then your slier will work as desired.
