Hello Community -
I have a hierarchical slicer on my report from my calendar table that should display 'Week Ending' and then underneath it, all the individual days.
I cannot get the child items to sort properly and I am not sure if that is me, or just 'how it is'
I want the dates to be descending as the report will mainly be used to track most recent activity. The weeks will properly align in descending order but the days underneath it still remain as Sunday through Saturday, ascending vs. descending. This is sorting by Week. (left hand picture)
If I sort by Day (right hand pic), then the days fix themselves but the weeks go in the reverse order and are ascending. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello, @amatulis
As mentioned @amitchandak , you can create a sort column.
Rank = RANKX('Calendar','Calendar'[Date],,DESC,Dense)
Next, create a "New Date" column:
New Date = 'Calendar'[Date]
Have the new "date column" sort by column "Rank"
The result will be displayed as shown below:
See the attachment for more details.

@amatulis , Try to use sort descending option and check
I have sorted every which way and they work properly for ascending but not descending.

@amatulis , now this is a solution. but that will change the order.
Create a rank on these asc and desc(The way you want) and mark then as sort column
