Hello Community,
I have a column (Unique Identifier) in a table. First, i need to sort it by that value and then hide it from the visual.
Is there any way to do this?
The data model and the report are separate , so i cannot hide it from the data model as there are other reports linked to it.

@Sam_Jain Turn off word-wrap for your column headers and values. Then move your mouse cursor into the column header for the column you want to hide. Slowly move your mouse to the right until it changes to 2 diverging arrows. Click and drag to the left until the column disappears.
If it was most other visuals, you could just add it to the tooltips area and sort by it. Along with Greg's suggestion, you could put another visual (or a shape that matches the background) over that column.

@Greg_Deckler Thank you for the response Greg! While this works, it is not the most aesthetically pleasing. Do you recommend any other way?
Or is there an idea suggested about this to have the option to hide columns?
Again, thank you for your response!
Hi @Sam_Jain ,
The 'aesthetically' workaround could be that you can create a rectangle shape with white outline and fill color to put on the hidden column in the visual to hide it.
