Hi there
I have used this method to strip the time off a datetime field. I had to do something about the field because i use this as a join.
But my query is so slow now!
And i've isolated the issue down to this calculated column.
Date = FORMAT('Date'[FullDate],"DD-MM-YYYY")
What is a better solution for removing the time element from a datetime field?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I usually makes a new column, with this Dax formula.
Just Date = DATE(YEAR(Date[Date]);MONTH(Date[Date]);DAY(Date[Date]))
I havent experienced this to slow down my repports, so try and see if this will fix your issue. 🙂
