I am trying to group accounts together that are all the same account but the data is uploaded through a direct query/live connection. Is there anyway around this?
Thanks!

Hi @aschwegman ,
Can you add a screenshot to illustrate this? In powerbi, you can group the imported data by conditions via dax formula, if you want to import by grouped conditions at the time of import then you can try to convert in the data source.
Power BI Group By Using DAX & Power Query - Microsoft Power BI Community
Or you can read below related document:
Imports - Post Import In Group - REST API (Power BI Power BI REST APIs) | Microsoft Docs
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry
