I'm currently accessing info from PeopleHR via API and getting the mentioned error.
I've created a new API key, done the queries from scratch, tried applying no transformation other than what is required to return results.
Data is loading in to the power query editor fine. I just can't close and apply it without the error.
Any help would be apprciated.

In your code, it expects a list but "" is supplied, you need to handle the exception in this case. Decide what should happen if your API doesn't return the expected result and how to handle the "" it blank.
you can use "try [your code] otherwise" option
