If I have 2 slicers based on the same field in the model, is it possible to get the selected value of each of those slicers into a measure?
I have a SSAS model where data is stored as snapshots with each snapshot having a name. I am looking to see if at a Power BI Report level, I can give user an option to choose a Base Snapshot (Slicer 1) and say a Compare Snapshot (Slicer 2) and based on what snapshot user selects in each, show views that compares metrics between the 2 snapshots or show variance between the 2 snapshots for certain metrics.
I am aware of how to achieve this using disconnected slicers based on 2 tables in the model but wondering if this can be achieved at the Power BI report level without having to add tables in the model.

Hi @vickyd,
It is not possible to get the selected value of two slicers which are from the same field in same table. To achieve your desired output, please use the method you mentioned above that using disconnected slicers based on 2 tables in the model.
