Good morning people, everything fine ?
I need help using one table to filter another.
I have 1 doctors table that is linked to the Fact table.
And I have another table with a list of doctors that I need to take from Table 1.
But when using the Merge queries and Select The Inner Join function, it returns the following error:
Can you help me or give me another solution to filter the table using the other table?
@ErickReiis , Change the datatype to Text in power query. Make sure the change data type step is overwritten (means it should not become int post/pre that)
Hello how are you?
Unfortunately I did the above procedure but it was not successful.
I put both columns in Text type in Power Query keeping only one data change step.
Would it be possible to do this using DAX?
Hi @ErickReiis ,
To use the table to filter another table, we usually create a relationship between these tables based on the related column.
Create and manage relationships in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
