Hi,
How can I create a summary table with :
Name | Status | Date |
A | S1 | 1/1/2018 |
A | S2 | 1/15/2018 |
A | S3 | 3/7/2018 |
B | S1 | 2/3/2018 |
B | S2 | 4/2/2018 |
C | S1 | 6/1/2018 |
Assuming "S3" is the final status, how can I create a new table in Power BI that filters all those records who have the final status of "S3" and only show the initial record. In this case, Name = A has the final status of S3, so we do not want to show that value. For the remining, we only want to show the initial status record (Status = S1). The O/P in the above example would be:
Name | Status | Date |
B | S1 | 2/3/2018 |
C | S1 | 6/1/2018 |

@Anonymous - Sounds like you want a Complex Selector, https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/The-Complex-Selector/td-p/1116633
In the first case, you would want something along the lines of:
Measure =
VAR __Max = MAX('Table'[Name])
RETURN
IF(__Max = "S3",0,1)
