Filter and display on going or active tasks

I am new to PowerBI and am using a custom visual Play Axis. I have two tables: Date and TaskTable.

I was able to create a calendar in Date table using plannedStart and plannedFinish dates from the TaskTable.

Now I'd like to display the tasks that are actively being filtered Play Axis date.

This filter will filter all tasks with planned start >= the date in Play Axis, or with planned finish <= the date in Play Axis.

Here is what my data looks like.

Would you please provide some suggestions?
