Exporting more 150,000 rows from Power BI report

Hi there,

I am displaying over 3.5 million rows in a table visual. Other non technical members for the team use the report and perform slicing and dicing using dropdown list. Some times when want to export the data shown in table visual as csv. However, table visual allows  to export only 150,000 rows. Most of the time, the data is more than 150,000 rows. Is there any way to export the data more than the given limit? If I upgrade my license from pro to premium, would that solve the issue? Waiting for your suggestions.

Firstly the limitation of exporting up to 150,000 rows to an Excel file (.xlsx) is a constraint in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Services, regardless of whether a Pro or Premium license is used.

Secondly I think one solution is to use Power BI Paginated Reports, which are specifically designed to work with large datasets and are also available in Power BI Premium, which you can read about on this site for more information: How to Export More Than 150k Rows in Power BI - Zebra BI

As a solution you can use analytics in excel which will allow you to get all the data from the dataset: Create Excel workbooks with refreshable Power BI data - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Respectfully, there's a reason that use case isn't supported. It's not a good use case.

There must be a better way to do what they need to do that doesn't involve exporting 150k+ rows to a spreadsheet.
