Error connecting to VSTS

I've followed the documentation on connecting P-BI to VSTS.  At step 8, connecting to the Visual Studio Team Services account I get an error.  I know it is connecting to the account successfully because if I put in an invalid team project I get an error that it is invalid, so the problem is somewhere below that.  The error I receive is below.  The VSTS Analytics extension is installed.  Analytics views are in place and verified.  I am an Project Admin.  View analytics is set to Allow for Contributors and for Project Admins.

What's my next step?

Can you make sure you use your account name in the Account field when configuring the connector? (the field above Team project).

Make sure you use just account name, not URL - i.e. if you normally visit your VSTS account in browser like so:

https://foo.visualstudio.com

then your account name is foo.

That was the trick.  Instead of foo, I was entering foo.visualstudio.com.  Interesting it partially worked.  Thanks muich, I'm off and running now.

Hi @DAW

Please try

Clear the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) state. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Contenttab, and then click Clear SSL state.

Best Regards

Maggie

No, same result.

And to be clear, I am running Power BI Desktop.
