Hello
I created a project in power BI, finished it, and shared the file with a colleague.
In my computer it works perfect, but in his, it presents an error in the format and I have not managed to solve it.
When changing the format indifferent to which column is selected, it always throws error.
The source of the data is an online excel table and has the correct formats.
I appreciate a help.
Hello
I share capture of the source data, they are in date/time format in excel.
This is how they load in power BI
Changing format to date/time throws error
Hello
The data in that particular column is date and time. The same thing happens with after columns of the same type and date, it does not allow to transform to the format that is required [Date Time].
As such it does not throw an error, the data is not transformed to the desired format and becomes an error.
I tried changing the format from the advanced editor but it didn't work either
= Table.TransformColumnTypes(#"Changed Type",{{"Business Days", type date}})
try to change where there is a date-time or date and add another Culture "us-US" Or "es-BZ"
= Table.TransformColumnTypes(#"Changed Type", {{"Business Days", type date}}, "us-US")
@Syndicate_Admin Ok. Can you please share the PBIX file or share some sample data. Thanks!
@Syndicate_Admin What's the data in this column and what is error message you get when you click on one of the cells?
