My company is moving to a new CRM so I'm trying to connect and create some test reports ahead of the migration. I went to Get Data, selected Dynamics 365, put in the correct URL, and signed in with my organizational account. It connected just fine and brought up the list of all our tables with no trouble, including all our custom entities so I know it's actually connecting successfully. But when I tried to select a table and load it, I got the sign-in dialog box again, with the message "Access to the resource is forbidden." All my googling keeps leading me back to this page, which claims that my account needs to be granted the OData – Organizational Data Service privilege. I've looked all through our security roles and can find no such privilege anywhere. Where is it? Or if that's not really the problem, what is?

You may find some guidance here.
Some of those contain other links that may help you resolve this
Good Luck!
@Seanthanks but unfortunately none of those really address my problem. Only one of them is even talking about an odata connection and that one is a completely different type of error from what I'm getting.
As far as I can tell this is just a user permission issue. That article I found clearly says which permission I need to set, but it doesn't tell me where to find the **bleep** thing.

Did you type **bleep" or is it true it automatically gets corrected?
So I've heard - according to @austinsense
BTW good to see he's back on here more often
Heh, I got censored.

Yep its still there - haha
**bleep**
Well **bleeping** **bleep** I can't **bleeping** believe nobody knows how to fix this.

Would like to help but i have no idea in odata 😞 but i really like what we are doing with **bleep**, is that manually typing or system did it?
@tringuyenminh92the last post was just me typing the bleeps manually, but the forum does **bleep** curse words automatically. That's what happened in my first post.

OK but seriously. Does somebody in this community know how to connect to a Dynamics 365 OData feed? Dynamics 365 is supposed to have really deep integration with Power BI, so why can't I even load a table from it?

Hi @KHorseman
Did you get this working in the end? I have been doing some tests and have connected to Dynamics 365 without any problems so might be able to assist?
Matt
@Matt_Alexanderyeah it turned out to be an obscure licensing thing. It's working now.

Hi. Would you mind detailing the fix ("Obscure licensing thing"). I am facing this issue directly and it would be great to get a resolution.
