Hi,
I want to solve following problem:
1)
User has month-slicer for selecting one reporting-month (SINGLE SELECTION)
2)
Depending on the Slicer (Step 1) following table is created:
==================================================
Entity | Previous Month(amount) | Reporting-Month(amount) |Difference Reporting-Month(amount) - Previous Month(amount)
==================================================
Up to this point everything is ok.
--------------------------------------------------
Question:
Is it possible change dynamic the table-column-field „Reporting-Month(amount)“ into 2020_07 and the table-column-field „Previous Month(amount)“ into 2020_06 depending on the Slicer-Input ?
===================================
Entity | 2020_06 | 2020_07 |Difference
===================================
Many users in this forum prefer matrix instead of table but matrix brings new problems.
Is it possible changing dynamically TABLE-COLUMNS (instead matrix-columns) ?
If only matrix-solution is possible: Is there a relative simple solution ? 😊
Kind regards
Rainer

@rainerpowerbi - Yes. It may not seem like it at first, but I have an example of something similar to this on pages 2 and 3 here:

Hi Greg,
thanks for your answer.
Further question:
Is it possible ading a difference-column in "Your" Complex-sector-example on page 1 ?
(example: Week 6 | Wek 7 | DIFFERENCE Week7-Wek 7)
The "difference-topic" is the reason I would prefer the table-visual, but it seems table-using is not poosible
Kind regards
Rainer
