Hello everyone,
I am currently sitting on a problem.
I have three pages in my Power BI Desktop.
Page1: Overview of customer data (in a Table)
Page2: Detail view of a single selected customer
Page3: Further information about the selected customer
Navigation is from page 1 (customer selection) to page 2 customer details and from page 2 to page 3
Currently, the drillthrough values Customer ID are poplulated on page 2 and page 3. So I can use the Action funtion Drillthrough to this page for a button
Now to the problem. I have a button that takes me from page 1 to page 2 and applies the filter CustomerID to the page.
But the button from page 2 is now grayed out, because it needs a filter that is selected in a slicer and not applied to the page.
Since I use a table for the customer overview, I cannot simply synchronize the filters, since no filters are set in a slicer on the first page
Is there a option do use the filter for a page or automaticly fill a slicer on that value?
KR
Hi @GeDei ,
It is very difficult to analyze without looking at the visuals and just by imagining. See if you can paste the image of the visuals or share the sample .pbix.
Please mask any sensitive data before uploading
The filter pane allows you to set page level filters or report level filters.
Best Regards,
Liang

Hi, somehow I can't upload a pbix :/.
So I try it with pictures.
At Page 1 you can see the Table with the Customer data.
Button A will lead to page 2 when you choose a Customer and click the button.
You can see this in the next picture.
So far so good. But now, on page 2, the Button B, which should lead to page 3, is greyed out.
The page is filtered for the CustomerID, but on the FilterTab. I have to choose manually (yellow cirlce)
the ID to activate the Button B.
Is there a way to avoid the manually selection?
KR
Am I really the only one who has this problem?
Maybe someone can tell me why I can't upload a pbix file.
All I get is this: The file type (.pbix) is not supported.
