Hi,
When having other filters on the target page than on the source which I drill through from, filters are not cleared upfront.
This must be a common need right? Cannot find any posts on it though.
For example: the target page "food details" is filtered on food category "vegetable" due to a previous manual action.
the source page "food overview" does not have a filter visual on category and we are drilling through on "food type" apple, it will pass apple (and other filters if "keep all filters" is on) to the food details page, but no results are shown as it is still filtered on vegetable as well, which apples are not part of.
Is there something like clear all existing filters during the drillthrough operation? Or call a bookmark to reset filters before applying the drillthrough filters? I must be missing something?
thanks 🙂

@hvetters your understanding is correct, there is no way to clear the filter on drill thru page. The best approach is to hide the drill thru page so that user can only get to that page from drill thru, not directly to avoid doing direct interaction on drill thru page.
On other hand, I agree with you that there should be an option to clear filter on drill thru page, may be you want to post and idea on ideas forum if one doesn't exists alredy or vote the existing one.

Many thanks for the quick reply.
I took this one for granted. I'll post/upvote an idea indeed.
cheers.
