Hi everyone,
I am creating a table with Sales vs Forecast by Region. The Region is a filter. My question is when I select a Region, all subregion rows are shown although Sales is blank. All subregion has forecast data. For example, my dashboard metric as follows:
Subregion | Sales | Forecast |
SF | 10 | 12 |
LA | 13 | 14 |
NYC | 14 |
When I select California, NYC is shows as well. I only wanna see the related subregions are shown in metric. Is there any way to solve this problem? Thanks.
Hi, try this:
Create this calculated column:
Thanks for your response. I tried, but not works. The sales in the raw data is no blank. I'd like to no sales data in dashboard is shown.
@Anonymous
Is region and Subregion from same table? if not, do you have relationship defined between those tables?
Thanks for your reply. Yes, it is from the same table. Sales and Forecast are from different table. The relationship is Subregion. I was wondering if it is due to the calculation in my table. When I remove the calculation ( YOY growth rate), it works.
