Hi!
I've got a complicated SQL View, which has STRING_SPLIT and window functions (LAST_VALUE). It also uses another view.
Power BI Direct Query gives different results than Sql Server Management Studio. Is that to be expected? When using import, all is OK.
Best Wishes,
Kaarel.
HI @kaarel ,
For directquery mode, it will get last data from datasource when you interaction with visuals. I think these differences should more related to this 'sync' feature.
BTW, You can take a look at following link to know more about this:

Hi! The underlying data is static when testing the queries via SSMS and Power BI Desktop. Is there any documentation about the limitations when using SQL Views with window functions, string_split() or referenced views in Power BI Direct Query mode? Best Wishes, Kaarel.
Anyone?
