Based on my knowledge, there might be no difference in DAX between Power BI Desktop and AAS model.

In what respect, storage requirements, performance, combination options?

You can always explore the XMLA endpoint to see how things are treated inside the actual data model. (For example there is a new DEFINE COLUMN paradigm, in addition to DEFINE MEASURE)
