1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Download the PBIX file from the service and see if that works.

  1. Go to the dataset for the file
  2. Click on the ellipses
  3. Download PBIX

Hopefully that works. I always store my PBIX files in OneDrive (all my files actually) so there is always a backup via OneDrive's built in versioning. Or Sharepoint. Same versioning happens. Keeps 500 versions for you automatically.

Probably a corrupt file. Do you have a backup?

Did you modify the file using Tabular Editor or any other 3rd party tool?

I have no backup, just built it a few days ago. I did not use any third party tool. It was working fine and then just stopped. Works and refreshed fine in Service.

Download the PBIX file from the service and see if that works.

  1. Go to the dataset for the file
  2. Click on the ellipses
  3. Download PBIX
