Delineating grouped columns in a matrix

I have a group of columns in a matrix that I would like to separate by some kind of border or color.  Is there a way to do this or is there another matrix visual that could?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Currently on the matrix visual you can make several changes in the formatting but not the individual borders by colum or columns one workaround can be to go to the subtotals and format them with a different background and then reduce the size of the column until you dont see the number check detail below:

Be aware that you also need to go to the grand total to make it in line with the rest of the table format or it also gets the same formatting as subtotals.

Be sure to turn off word wrap.

Thanks, I was able to accomplish what I needed, but I couldn't do it with subtotals for some reason.  I just added another column to the group and formatted it as you described.

My biggest issue is that I had to reduce the column width for each monthly repitition.  How can I get ALL the columns width's adjusted.  It appears that when an new "month column" is added, I will have to shrink it down.  Is there a way around this?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Currently you need to do it one at a time.
