I am trying to find the age based on 2 dates, I have a due date in my data and I want to have another date as user defined using some parameter. I have done this many times in tableau, but somehow in Power BI it looks quite complex to me.
Can anyone help me in figuring it out how can I achieve this?
Many Thanks,
Jamil
@Idrissshatila Thanks for your resoponse, but my requirement is different.
I woud like to calculate the age of open action item points, at any given point of user selected date. We take this date as reference and then calculate the difference with the original due date to figure out if the action item is due or not due
Hello @Jamil403711 ,
If you want to calculate the age , it should be based on a column that is imported into power BI, It doesn't work that users can enter it in a specific tab, it should be imported with the data and have a calculated column that calculatess the diff between today and the value in the age field.
If I answered your question, please mark my post as solution so it would appeare to others, Appreciate your Kudos 👍
