Hi,
So I have a stacked bar graph that shows sales by region per fiscal period. However the tooltip for a stacked bar only shows you the info for the highlighed segment. I have a request to show the national value in the tooltip as well. It seemed easy enough so I chose to use ALL to do this.
However one of my measures, shows the number of automobile sales, and if the product filter is not ALL products or Automobile then this measure should return 0. I did this by using the following measure:
Car sales = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(Sales[Customer_ID]),FILTER(Product[Name])) This way products they select don't include automobiles it will return 0
Now when I try to add All to this measure to get:
ALL Car Sales = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(Sales[Customer_ID),Filter(Product[Name]),ALL(Sales[Region])), the All doesn't work and it still shows me the sales per category. Should I be using a different function here?
Thanks
Hi @id013,
I'd like to suggest you use allselected function on sales table with product name field as an additional filter:
ALL Car Sales =
CALCULATE (
DISTINCTCOUNT ( Sales[Customer_ID] ),
ALLSELECTED ( Sales ),
VALUES ( Product[Name] )
)
Managing “all” functions in DAX: ALL, ALLSELECTED, ALLNOBLANKROW, ALLEXCEPT
Order of Evaluation in CALCULATE Parameters
If above not help, please provide some dummy data with the expected results to test.

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
