Dear all,
In this case i want to visualize the amount of items sold during a a certain time frame.
I want to import a table with diferent date ranges, f.e:
Item ID ITEMS SOLD START DATE END DATE
123 WHAT I WANT 01/02/2020 20/02/2020
12345 WHAT I WANT 01/02/2020 22/02/2020
Thing is, i dont have any idea what DAX to use, im pretty new with the interface. Also, i have imported the data from an excel table that ive been updating but it is not reliable, are there any ways to set time frames on my dashboard table without updating the excel table?
Thanks!
So what does your source data look like? Please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
Hi,
It is the same as shown, the list of items id's with their start date and end date.
To do what you want, your data should have the following fields:
Date Sold
Item Number
Quantity Sold
Then you would use a date slicer on your page, filtering a SUM of quantity sold by item number.
I have all the sales per day per item the thing i want to look the amount of items sold during a time frame, problem is i dont know what DAX to use, right now the table is giving me the total amount of items sold since its existence.
Can you please provide a sample set of data? Thanks!
