Hello Team,
I need Dynamic Value( Total sales )with Currency symbol based on slicer selection ,
for that i am using below Table
Source -
i am creating table with below two column .
Table Name - Currency Table
Currency name | Rate |
USD | 1.2 |
YEN | 1.4 |
Output -
I am using currency name as slicer (Filter) .
-USD
-GBP
based on above slicer when i select USD i want value(Total sales ) as USD -$100 and when we select YEN then -¥100
for that i am using below formula , this working for me but formula convert to text , i need formula as number not text .
Forumula - 1
Total sales = SWITCH(TRUE(),
[Selected Currency ]="USD",FORMAT([Total sales]*VALUES('Currency Table'[Rate]),"$0,00"),
[Selected Currency ]="YEN",FORMAT([Total sales]*VALUES('Currency Table'[Rate]),"¥0,00"),
[Total sales]))
when i create above dax values convert in to text , i want that become a Number .please help me to write dax.

@SAPpowerbi Yeah, not sure if there is a way to do that. Currency is based on local system settings so not even Custom Format Strings will help.
