In the context of building a report in Power BI for an institution whose official language is Arabic, we would like to confirm whether it is possible in Power BI Desktop to introduce an Arabic version of all the inputs in English, such as titles, descriptions, subtitles, etc.
We would appreciate feedback on whether we can customise and adjust any input we type in the Power BI dashboard to be aligned from Right to Left instead of the default alignment from Left to Right. Keeping the default alignment from Left to Arabic would render the Arabic input incorrectly.
For your reference, we have detailed below all the steps we have taken, which unfortunately have not yielded any positive outcome.
The solution we have identified is as follows:
3. Add text boxes to the PBI that allow the formula to be embedded:
4. Finally create a filter that lets you choose which language you want to see in the dashboard:
Eventhough this strategy works for other languages, it doesn't work for arabic since PBI desktop doesn't have an option to write in arabic, which means that every time we copy a translation from excel (which is correct) into the translation formula (see point 2.), power bi changes the phrase:
The excel file has this translation:
Once I copy it, it comes like this:
Which in turn is incorrect because the number should come first:
Having this explained, is there any way of incorporating the correct information in Arabic?
