Hi everyone,
I have the following problem.
I want to have a graph with the count of active employees. If a employee starts for example in 01.01.2021 and terminates in 01.04.2021, there should be a "1" in every month (Jan., Feb., Mar.) until the end (Apr.)
This is my table for example:
Employee | Start date | End date |
A | 01.01.2021 | 01.04.2021 |
B | 01.02.2021 | 01.03.2021 |
For a better understanding, it should be looking in a table like this:
Month | Employees started | Employee terminate | Count of employees |
Jan | 1 | 0 | 1 |
Feb | 1 | 0 | 2 |
Mar | 0 | 1 | 1 |
Apr | 0 | 1 | 0 |
The actual situation in my report is, if I create a visual, it only shows the count new started employees and the ones who terminates. But I want to count if a employee starts in January and ends in March, it should count for every month a "1" until march.
Something like this:
Thank you in advance!!!!
Hi, @Anonymous
Please check the below picture and the sample pbix file's link down below.
The relationships between the two tables are both inactive.
