Hi Everyone,
I've been working on a Power BI report using Power BI Desktop (October 2023 version). The report consists of 3 pages/tabs with various visuals, including matrices, tables, clustered bar charts, and clustered column charts.
Now, I am exploring the possibility of converting this Power BI report, including these different visualizations, into a paginated report format.
The reason behind my inquiry is that we need to print each tab to PDF with different pages. Unfortunately, the current layout in Power BI might not provide the desired print format. To address this, we are considering the option of converting the existing Power BI report, including these different visualizations, into a paginated report format.
Is there a recommended way or workaround to achieve this conversion? Or, is it advisable to initiate the creation of the paginated report from scratch using Report Builder?
Key Details:
Power BI Desktop Version: October 2023
Report Structure: 3 tabs with matrices, tables, clustered bar charts, clustered column charts, etc.
Objective: Convert the existing Power BI report to a paginated report format to facilitate proper printing to PDF with distinct pages for each tab.
I would greatly appreciate any insights, tips, or guidance from the community on the best approach for this scenario. Thank you for your assistance!
Best regards,
Bharath Ch
The current version of the Power BI, cannot be converted directly into a paginated report due to the different approaches used in computation and layout formatting.
However, you can upload it to the Power BI Service and then export it as a PDF, which will make it easier to print. I hope this may help quickly!
