Connecting to dataset in PowerBI service via desktop app

MY COLLEAGUE IS UNABLE TO RETRIEVE A PUBLISHED DATASET FROM A PREMIUM WORKSPACE. HE HAS ACCESS TO THE WORKSPACE (HE IS IN FACT AN ADMIN/OWNER OF IT) BUT WHEN HE TRIES TO RETRIEVE THE DATASET AS A LIVE CONNECTION FROM POWER BI DESKTOP HE RECEIVES THE ERROR MESSAGE AS PER THE ATTACHED PICTURE.

HE CAN LOG ONTO THE SERVICE VIA A BROWSER AND CREATE REPORTS FROM THAT DATASET WITHIN THE POWERBI SERVICE, JUST CANNOT RETRIEVE THE DATASET THROUGH THE DESKTOP APP? DESPITE WHAT THE ERROR MESSAGE SAYS THE MODEL HAS NOT BEEN DELETED, RENAMED OR MOVED AND HE DOES HAVE PERMISSIONS TO ACCESS IT.

Error Message.jpg

HE HAS THE LATEST VERSION OF THE DESKTOP APP INSTALLED.  ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I HAVE RAISED A SUPPORT TICKET WITH MICROSOFT AS WELL BUT THOUGHT I WOULD ALSO POSE THE QUESTION HERE.

THANKS IN ADVANCE.
